A curated client experience centred around hospitality, engagement and transparency.
Central to the McGrath story is their value of people and property, something which Futurespace looked to translate in the design of their new retail space in Neutral Bay, NSW. The journey begins by crafting a welcome experience that allows McGrath’s people to immediately engage with their clients. A round tiered desk creates a soft welcome, assisting McGrath’s people to greet their clients at different levels and the inclusion of an integrated bar fridge allows staff to immediately cater to visitors. Adjacent are phone booths offering both clients and employees a private space to conduct business. For McGrath a sense of hospitality is immediately created in the first point of the customer journey.
As clients move further into the open environment a variety of activity-based spaces cater for different interactions; booths provide a relaxed setting for deeper conversation and consultancy, team benches offer an area for collaboration, while enclosed meeting rooms cater for sensitive discussions. Collectively the different settings enable staff to engage with their clients in new ways. The look and feel reflects the materiality of its suburb and well as McGrath as a brand; the palette is a blend of warm tones, sophisticated layering of texture and tone to create depth with masculine details all visible from street level. Overall this new retail space strengthens McGrath’s ability to service their clients and build relationships with their local community.
